Lex has been in theatre for over ten years and has never stopped loving what she does. She especially loves making beautiful art with other talented creatives and collaborating with different artists. Lex dedicates herself to learning and discovery through her experiences.

If you ask Lex how she started in theatre, she’ll rattle off how she was dragged into the stage crew club after a marching band practice and then got roped into doing sound. However, if you ask her why she continued doing theatre, she’ll tell you that she fell in love with sound and the connection it creates between the stage and the audience. Through sound design, music and effects become a part of the story, carrying the audience through time, place, and emotion. As an audio engineer, Live reinforcement brings the voices and instruments to theatre-goers so they can better connect with what is happening onstage.

Outside of theatre, Lex enjoys a variety of different hobbies and activities. She recognizes the importance of being in tune with oneself by taking time for self care, reflection and enjoyment. She has found a joy in cooking, reading, and puzzling. Combining the three, Lex can usually be found working on a puzzle while snacking on her most recent culinary endeavor, listening to an audio book with her cat Elton curled up next to her.
